Enamel Pin - Newport (Large)

Newport is an eclectic mainstay of the Oregon Coast. The cultural district of Newport is dotted with shops, cafes, art galleries, and chowder houses. Bordering Yaquina Bay, the art-deco Yaquina Bay Bridge is an arch bridge spanning the bay while the Yaquina Head Lighthouse is the tallest active lighthouse in Oregon.

The coastal town’s Historical Bayfront area is home to an active working waterfront and one of the state’s largest commercial fishing fleets. Nye Beach, another unique area of the town is a popular retreat for the arts. Newport also includes the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium that is home to large tanks of sea turtles, colorful fish, an outdoor exhibit featuring a variety of marine mammals, and the largest outdoor Seabird Aviary in North America.
