Coin Set - The Scouring of the Shire Iron Coins

Three solid iron coins from the Shire, struck during a time of great turmoil. The design, metal, and denomination have all changed compared to the versions before Shire Year 1419. The lovely tree that normally graces coins of the Shire has been replaced by a large "S". The Shire Silver Shilling has been replaced by the iron 10p, the Shire Penny for the iron 1p, and the Shire Farthing for the tiny iron 1/4p. The coins are struck in scrap iron.
